Turnstiles and Speed Gates for Controlled Lobbies

What they solve

A reader on a glass door does not stop tailgating. Turnstiles and speed gates force one person per credential in a busy lobby. Offices, gyms and industrial pedestrian entries use them when the risk or the headcount justifies the floor space.

Escape and power

Fire escape cannot wait for a card. Lanes need a documented free-exit or drop-arm behaviour on fire alarm and on power loss, according to the building’s escape plan. That is a design item, not a brochure footnote.

Readers on both sides

Staff still need a fast tap. Visitors need a reception bypass or a QR/day pass. Put a camera on the lane if you care about disputes.

CapeCore installs where the floor plate allows

We specify commercial lanes and readers together. A decorative gate that a bicycle can hop is not a turnstile.
