Traffic is the specification

A yard that sees articulated trucks needs a different leaf, motor and loop layout than a two-car office park. Turning circles, the public road queue and a separate pedestrian gate should be drawn before a motor is ordered.

Booms vs sliding gates

A boom controls vehicles quickly but does not secure the pedestrian gap. A sliding gate secures the opening but is slower. Many sites need both, or a gate plus a turnstile.

Logs and cameras

Card or tag events plus a camera on the cab and the number plate make disputes solvable. A boom with no recorder is only a delay.

CapeCore plans the entrance as a system

Motors, access, CCTV and, where required, electric fencing are quoted from one walk-around.
